How to fix iPhone 5 error 14 when restore with iTunes





iTunes error 14 sometime cause from your Internet connection slow or stuck when you download ipsw file from another update source not update direct from apple site. Usually iTunes code error 14 will be pops up when you try to upgrade your iPhone, iPad or ipod Touch iOS version to 5.0 and above. 





How to fix itune error 14 during restore ipsw to your iPhone ,iPod,and iPad  (Tested )

To fix this error you can follow tutorial

1.Close iTunes on your Window or Mac / Laptop PC
2.Delete the ipsw file from previously download . The downloaded ipsw file is located at following locations 

On Windows XP: Goto  C:/Doc­u­ments and Settings/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes/iPhone Soft­ware Updates (delete ipsw file in this folder )

Windows 7:  Goto  C::/Users/Your Username/App Data/Apple Computer/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates  (delete ipsw file in this folder )


For your iPod and iPad

 1.Windows XP: Goto  C:/Doc­u­ments and Settings/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes/iPod Software Updates 0r  iPad Software Updates
(delete ipsw file in this folder )


2.Windows 7: Goto  C:/Users/Your Username/App Data/Apple Computer/iTunes/iPod Software Updates 0r  iPad Software Updates (delete ipsw file in this folder )


After you deleted ipsw file from Software Update folder already:

1. Re-download the IPSW file from Apple server or Apple site

2. Now, try to restore the downloaded IPSW file from your iTunes. again


All done
